49ers Over/Under prop bets for 2024-25

49ers Over/Under prop bets for 2024-25

On the 49ers season preview episode of We Want Winners, Rod and I talked about some prop bets he was making or has made for the 49ers this season. We've embedded that specific segment below if you want to watch it.

But, here are those bets.

Rod bet the under on the original prop for 49ers overall win total at 12.5 wins. It's since gone down to 11.5 wins. I said I'd take the under on both.

Rod bet the over on Deebo Samuel and 800 total receiving yards for the season. As many prop bets are, this is about his ability to stay on the field. I also said I'd take the over as I think Deebo is going to have a big year.

Rod wasn't sure about the George Kittle prop bet which was 5.5 receiving touchdowns. The 49ers have a lot of players to spread the ball around to. And if you believe Deebo is going to have a big year, someone may have less than a big year. But I still think Kittle gets to at least six receiving touchdowns. He's hit that number the last three years.

Rod also talked about Christian McCaffrey's rushing touchdown number being low at 10.5. It seems like an easy over, but again, this one is very much so dictated by injury worry. He's already injured coming into the season with something that started last year. He's only scored more rushing touchdowns that that twice in his career, first in 2019, and then again last year. As we know, he's also going to score touchdowns through the air. Rod thought the number should be gettable, but as I looked into it, I was less enthused that it was an easy one.

Lastly, Rod took a look at Brock Purdy's overall passing yards. Last year, Brock threw for a shade under 4300 yards, but didn't play in the last regular game of the season. If Brock stays upright, it seems like an easy over. And if you think the 49ers have another great season, you believe that Brock will be upright. We both took the over.
