One of the best things about podcasts is that there's no one way to do a podcast. Some are back-and-forth conversations. Some are full of in-depth reporting and keep you on the edge of your seat (shout out to Bone Valley which was the best one of those that I heard last year). And others can be short and full of news, like an update for your morning; your go-to show to start your day.
That's kind of what we're getting at with BSPN News. Our three shows (so far) record once a week for the most part. And they probably average an hour per show each. They're conversational with smart, thoughtful takes.
During the playoffs, we may record more. When the 49ers are in the off-season, you'll hear We Want Winners less. What about the rest of the four days that week?
That's where BSPN News comes in. I follow the 49ers, Warriors, and Giants news very closely. And if something big happens on a day that we don't record, you may hear a short episode of BSPN News covering that during the week. It won't be every day there isn't a regular show.
However, with BSPN News, it's going to be short and digestible. The goal is under 10 minutes for each show. So it's not a heavy lift for a listener. And there should be good information if you've missed anything.
All that to say, we've created a fourth show in the feed and it may be more than once a week. It will be in the BSPN feed on all of your favorite podcast apps. And we'll also put all of them up on YouTube (like below).
