As if the 49ers 1-2 start didn't have the fanbase in dismay already, two new pieces of 49ers news soon will.
According to head coach Kyle Shanahan, Javon Hargrave tore his triceps and will miss the rest of the 2024 season.

Barrows went on to write on Twitter:
49ers can bring up T.Y. McGill or rookie Evan Anderson from the practice squad. Kalia Davis also is due to come off injured reserve in coming weeks as well.
The 49ers had several key players missing on Sunday against the Rams and lost a very winnable game, one in which they were winning almost the entire way.
And now, there's news that star running back Christian McCaffrey's Achilles tendon injury is severe enough for him to make the trip to Germany to see a specialist.
And to top it off, 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey is seeing a specialist in Germany regarding his Achilles tendinitis.

The 49ers still have a very talented roster, but missing a key piece of the offense and now losing a key piece of the defense to injury for the rest of the year more than likely doesn't bode well for their return to the Super Bowl.
It's much like the Warriors in 2019 when the team seemed to run out of gas right at the end of their five year run, losing Klay Thompson and Kevin Durant to injury. Well, except the 49ers haven't won any Super Bowl championships yet.
